Vaccine induced herd immunity is an over simplified and over hyped marketing idea. Here’s the reality:
The acellular pertussis vaccine does not provide mucosal immunity. It does not prevent transmission. So vaccine recipients can get colonized and SILENTLY SPREAD the bacteria. So HERD SPREADING by vaccines, not herd immunity.

If you get the flu shot, you not only can get sick, you spread it better.

You get the meningococcal ACWY vaccine and then you get colonized by serogroup X and spread it.

So, are you going to ban these vaccinated spreaders/shedders from contact with everyone else?
The vast majority of adults haven’t been vaccinated for measles, smallpox, polio, etc., for 30 years or more, and as such no longer have vaccine-based immunity against those diseases.
And so it is that a majority of people are effectively unvaccinated against those diseases. But where are the great epidemics that advocates of forced vaccination fear in places with generally good sanitation, housing, and food supply?
On the other hand, results from the following tightly controlled survey of the health histories of vaccinated and unvaccinated children suggest that vaccination greatly increases the odds of chronic health and especially neuro-developmental disorders. In that survey the vaccinated children were found to have a 19% (about 1 in 5) greater chance of having been diagnosed with chronic health issues than the unvaccinated children, 4.7 times the rates of autism and learning disabilities, and over 3 times the rates of neuro-developmental disorders and allergies: Pilot comparative study on the health of vaccinated and unvaccinated 6- to 12- year old U.S. children
