Please study the GMO issue in more depth.

Contrary to what you say, there is evidence that GMO foods can be harmful to humans and other animals.

One  reason for creating corn, soy, and sugar beet chimeras is so that glysophate can be slathered on it without killing it. Roundup kills almost all weeds but leaves Monsanto’s muntants unharmed.

The other is so that Monsanto can patent these new strains. Monsanto changes one gene and patents the entire plant. It makes no sense.

It is unfortunate that the Seattle Times has decided to oppose I-522 and side with the polluters and despoilers.
