Dear Mr. Men,
With Tony Helo’s input I have prepared the attached documents.
Tony has to meet with the Liquor Control Board this week. There is the possibility that the Board will terminate sales of liquor, which would mean effectively that the restaurant would have to close. If this happens, it will be because Tom did not follow up on the transfer of the liquor license. This would cost Tom a lot of money because he would still owe the lease payments.
If we can get this agreement signed right away, Tony will be able to take it with him to the meeting with the Liquor Control Board, and the agreement might convince the Liquor Control Board not to terminate the liquor license. This would save Tom a lot of money.
