COUNTY GOVERNMENT

County government has no jurisdiction over the issues which divide and paralyze Republicans and Democrats on the national and state levels. For example, county government has no jurisdiction over international relations, international trade, interstate commerce, reapportionment, federal taxes, state taxes, deficits, gun control, reproductive rights, immigration, gay marriage, and a host of other issues.

County politics is about clean, effective government. The issues are non-partisan.

Just as city elections are non-partisan, county elections should be non-partisan too.
